Thomas R Gildea, MD, MS, FCCP, was appointed to the Cleveland Clinic in 2003 in the Advanced Lung Disease section of the Department of Pulmonary Allergy and Critical Care Medicine. He is currently the Section Head of Bronchoscopy and the Innovation Lead for the Respiratory Institute. Dr. Gildea is internationally recognized as a thought leader in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy approaches and techniques and creation of groundbreaking airway disease innovations. An invited lecturer at national and international medical meetings and a member of several industry scientific advisory boards, Dr. Gildea is renowned expert in the field on interventional pulmonary medicine.
