Abstract Submission
Call for Abstracts

The Organizing Committee welcomes the submission of abstracts with the following themes for poster or video showcase during the Summit:

  • Medical Robotics
  • Biomedical Imaging & AI
  • Nanomedicine & Biosensing
  • Clinical Applications / Innovations
  • Other Advanced Medical Technologies

Both clinical based and engineering-related abstract papers are welcome.

Submission
  • Please submit the abstract paper with the completed “Abstract Submission Form” and send them to tcim@cuhk.edu.hk.
  • All representing authors are also required to register for the Summit in order to showcase their works on Summit's website. Please register here.
Important Dates
  • Submission Deadline: 13th October 2021 (Wednesday)
  • Acceptance Notification: Late October 2021
Guidelines on Abstract Paper Submission
  1. Abstracts should be written in English. Each file should contain only ONE abstract.
  2. Each abstract MUST NOT exceed 300 words.
  3. Each abstract should be typed single-spaced in MS Word format, using 12-point font of Times New Roman.
  4. Abstract title (no abbreviations), author name(s), institution(s) and country of origin should be clearly stated on top of the abstract.
  5. AUTHORS’ NAMES should be typed in CAPITALS and followed by the institution(s) where the work was undertaken. Underline the names of the REPRESENTING AUTHOR.
  6. The abstract content should normally include Objectives, Subjects and Methods, Results and Conclusion(s).
  7. The representing author has to register for the Summit as the delegate, otherwise the abstract will not be considered on the Summit’s website.
Guidelines on the Poster / Video

Applicants are required to submit either a poster or a video after their abstracts are selected. Instructions will be provided in the notification of results.

  1. Poster Guideline:
    Format: A page in PDF (No audio or videos in the poster)
    Maximum Poster Size: A3 size (297mm x 420mm)
    (Resolution should be no more than 1123 x 1587 pixels)

  2. Video Guideline:
    Duration: 2 minutes
    Format: MPEG-4
    Aspect Ratio: 16:9
    Maximum Video Size: 200MB
